Services

The members of the Church of Black Rest Rest Reverend Collective provide most, if not all, services to BIPOC communities for FREE. Requesting our expertise to facilitate workshops centered on resting, curate rest-centered activations, appear for speaking engagements, and to officiate weddings allows the Church of Black Rest to generating income, so that we can continue to provide access to Rest at no cost to Black people.

Radical Rest Sermons

CoBR Rest Reverends can speak on a range of topics from the impacts of stress on the body, the importance of sleep and the effects of generational trauma genetically.

Radical Rest Revivals

Radical Rest Revivals take form as “pop-up’ style community engagement events that have the purpose of promoting and educating the community on the importance of Rest, while also providing some tools for grounding in building a Rest Practice in real time so that we may restore the communities belief in the power of Rest.

Self-Love Celebrations

CoBR offers radical Self-love celebrations that are structured similar to American Weddings with a Radical Self-Love Ritual twist that take place grounded in community. We believe that we must edify the love we have for ourselves so that it is sustainable.
